Ruma Dev
Singapore-based artist whose practice returns to the epics not as distant history, but as living maps of the human condition.
Working across acrylic, watercolour, sand and mineral pigment, she distils familiar narratives into atmosphere, gesture and symbol. Her paintings dwell in the moment before action: a held breath, a difficult counsel, a crossing yet to be made. The result is a contemporary visual language shaped by devotion, inquiry and material intuition.
